I just got 5 turnigy 3s 2200. 25-35c from DE Warehouse for 100 bucks posted which is about £12.50 each delivered, I havent bought 3s packs for ages but I thought that was pretty good value compared to uk prices.

Compared to UK, yes. Compared to HK, probably not.

For the price of 3s packs though, it probably isn't worth the 3 week wait.

I ordered 4 x 6s 5000 Turnigy packs for a project, they worked out at £40 cheaper than DE all together.

Myself & Rocket Ronnie were having a chat with one of the Guys on the Hobby King stand at 3D masters, He said that container loads of stock is on its way to the UK including Li-Po's, the UK warehouse will be fully stocked..
some other news is the DE warehouse is going!! something to do with the Germany Gov making it too expensive too run, But there will be another new warehouse opening in Belgium, which along with the UK warehouse will be fully stocked by the end of the year...

just looked at ordering some 3600 6S lipos and it still had the flat $15 postage charge which is good for x4 lipos! Made them about £42 each which is ok.

I noticed the postage was a flat rate. Im sure its up to 30kg as well if I remember correctly

First you have to get the CG correct, the battery mounted all the way forward might work, then I wouldn't think you would get much more than 3-5 minutes of hovering.

So no, I would hold out for 2650-3300 mah batteries.

even my optipower makes my heli nose heavy.
I've had to resort to added weight on the tail boom.
What I have done is put a spare 450 flybar paddle taped onto the vertical tailfin but it's still nose heavy.

Rather than tape a paddle on and still not make it, next time you go past a tyre fitting place, ask them if they can give you a few wheel balance weights, they are small and come with double sided tape on them. I asked and got given a whole sack but thats another story.
